Facebook review: I make it a point to eat at The New Friendly each summer when I'm in Maine. They serve authentic Downeast seafood. The locals consider it their restaurant and can be less than cordial to PFAs (People From Away). Ignore them and enjoy fresh haddock, scallops, clams and wonderful chowder - with large portions. A must-stop on a tour of Washington County and the Bay of Fundy. Some of the best food between Portland and St. John. Enjoy!
One of the most highly rated lobster shacks in Maine, the Quoddy Lobster serves only the freshest fish, lobster, crab, salads and now hamburgers!
How about any kind of seafood you want? It's fresh, it's tasty, and the helpings are huge! My wife and I walk to Quoddy Bay Seafood in the afternoons. This is the real thing when it comes to seafood. - reviewer on Trip Advisor
TripAdvisor Review: "Eating is a must, but when you travel with food critics it is difficult to agree on a restaurant. This restaurant surpassed our expectations. The kids had Pizza with caesar salad and Prime Rib Burger, My husband and Mother in law had the Fish Burger, my father in law had a Panini, Pesto Chicken Sandwich, and I had the Pulled Pork Burger and what a treat, the portions are more than average, and each of our dish were delicious. The restaurant has tons of history and a great story. There is also a patio, overlooking the water, its breezy a bit but very relaxing. We would eat there again. Its worth the trip to the Island."
